{"id":271076,"date":"2022-12-07T11:20:43","date_gmt":"2022-12-07T10:20:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/welovesalt.com\/be\/jobs\/%wpbb_job_industry%\/vmware-engineer\/"},"modified":"2023-01-21T12:24:45","modified_gmt":"2023-01-21T11:24:45","slug":"vmware-engineer-271076","status":"archive","type":"wpbb_job","link":"https:\/\/welovesalt.com\/\/be\/jobs\/technology\/vmware-engineer-271076\/","title":{"rendered":"VMware Engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>VMware Engineer (Freelance Contract) &#8211; Banking Client &#8211; Brussels<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Duration: 9 months <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Rate: Flexible rate <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Hybrid Working &#8211; 3 days per month onsite, the rest can be worked remotely <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Virtual Infrastructure Services team is committed to bring the best computing experience to our internal clients (platforms, office and business applications) via innovative virtualized services through its Converged and Hyper-Converged infrastructures.<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for an enthusiastic new member for our &#8220;Virtual Infrastructure Services&#8221; team that wants to share his\/her passion for IT technology and automation with the team.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This position is centered on the management, support and evolution of the Converged (Vxblock) and Hyper-Converged (Nutanix) infrastructures, Storage Area Network, Backup and Archive Solutions and Hypervisor technology (VMWARE) in a 24\/7 production environment.<\/p>\n<p>One of the primary goals of the Compute virtualisation engineer role will be to design and build automation solutions for the virtual infrastructure services offered by the team in order to reduce manual efforts and increase team efficiency.<\/p>\n<p>Your part of the deal :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Write\/Troubleshoot scripts to automate the virtual infrastructure services<\/li>\n<li>Design, document, test and implement automation workflows.
