{"id":10543,"date":"2020-09-21T05:34:53","date_gmt":"2020-09-21T04:34:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/welovesalt.com\/au\/jobs\/%wpbb_job_industry%\/cyber-security-analyst\/"},"modified":"2020-11-20T13:15:07","modified_gmt":"2020-11-20T13:15:07","slug":"cyber-security-analyst-10543","status":"archive","type":"wpbb_job","link":"https:\/\/welovesalt.com\/au\/jobs\/technology\/cyber-security-analyst-10543\/","title":{"rendered":"Cyber Security Analyst"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This role will help to shape security programs across all environments and liaise with key stakeholders in the business to drive security governance and awareness.<\/p>\n<p>You will be the beginning of a new in-house Cyber Security function as they look to ease reliance on third-party vendors, so this is a superb opportunity to grow into a leadership role, owning the security environment long-term.<\/p>\n<p>You will have an excellent opportunity to learn from the Vendors CISO who sits in-house as you begin with a tools uplift and then grow into owning the Solution Design.<\/p>\n<p>To be successful in this role you will need a true passion for Cyber Security and an eagerness for constant learning.<\/p>\n<p>Key areas of understanding are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Network Security<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of Cloud Security<\/li>\n<li>Incident handling<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Core responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be aware of cybersecurity risks.<\/li>\n<li>Support cyber security requirements across key cyber domains including Cloud, Network, Data, Endpoints, Email and Governance<\/li>\n<li>Take care of the defence cybersecurity requirements<\/li>\n<li>Set-up the cybersecurity tools\/apps in computers and mobile devices<\/li>\n<li>Security reporting and roadmaps<\/li>\n<li>Assist in building Security framework to all business units within the company<\/li>\n<li>Support the monitoring, analysis and response of security events and alerts<\/li>\n<li>Undertake and drive Threat and Vulnerability management requirements<\/li>\n<li>Support security incident management events with research and analysis required for resolution as well as for preventative controls<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Who should apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Either a recent cyber security\/computer science graduate<\/li>\n<li>Technical knowledge of Cloud, Network and Data Security features<\/li>\n<li>Strong background in cloud infrastructure management &#8211;<\/li>\n<ul>\n<li>MS OS\/applications<\/li>\n<li>Linux OS<\/li>\n<li>AWS Linux OS<\/li>\n<li>Cloud computing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<li>Knowledge of Security technologies: intrusion detection\/prevention, SOC\/SIEM, DLP, MFA, Vulnerability scanning, Patch Management<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to demonstrate sound technical understanding around networking and operating systems<\/li>\n<li>Strong passion for cyber security<\/li>\n<li>A passion to code and develop scripts<\/li>\n<li>Basic understanding of encryption technologies and algorithms<\/li>\n<li>Network design, TCP\/IP, and firewall concepts<\/li>\n<li>Excellent routing and troubleshooting experience<\/li>\n<li>Investigation of cyber security related incidents<\/li>\n<li>Experience in threat hunting and security monitoring,<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Good technical documentation and presentation skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent stakeholder engagement &amp; management skills<\/li>\n<li>Adaptable and thrive in a dynamic environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Salt is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/R0Nvb3Blci40NzAyMy4xMDc3NEBzYWx0LmFwbGl0cmFrLmNvbQ.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This role will help to shape security programs across all environments and liaise with key stakeholders in the business to drive security governance and awareness.
