Working with a wide range of data sources and native technologies, building custom experiences for sports fans. You will progress your own skills and expertise along the way, sharing and learning new technologies and techniques across the team. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"color: black;font-size: 12pt\">Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Producing iOS code to a high standard that not only functions correctly but can be understood and extended by other members of the team<\/li>\n<li>Showing good attention to detail in the final product, taking care and pride in what is produced<\/li>\n<li>Communicating clearly both technically and creatively, to ensure the best possible solutions are built<\/li>\n<li>Tracking and communicating progress within a project across the project team, especially the Project\/Product Manager<\/li>\n<li>Managing test releases for internal and external use<\/li>\n<li>Developing own skills to get as many aspects of iOS development to an expert level, as possible<\/li>\n<li>Sharing of ideas and techniques across the team, contributing to and learning from the team as a whole<\/li>\n<li>Helping to prioritise tasks<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the iOS lead and squad when estimating the effort required to complete a task<\/li>\n<li>Participating in code reviews<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"color: black;font-size: 12pt\">Required Skills and Experience <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Problem solving<\/li>\n<li>Willingness and ability to learn and adapt to new approaches<\/li>\n<li>Swift<\/li>\n<li>Xcode<\/li>\n<li>UIKit<\/li>\n<li>We service integration (REST, JSON)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"color: black;font-size: 12pt\">Competent with<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Task\/ticket management tools such as JIRA<\/li>\n<li>Persistent storage solutions such as Core Data<\/li>\n<li>GIT usage and code management<\/li>\n<li>Integrating with and using third party libraries\/applications (e.g. video providers)<\/li>\n<li>Documenting iOS solutions and code<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"color: black;font-size: 12pt\">Desirable skills and knowledge <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience working within a development team<\/li>\n<li>Unit Tests and TDD<\/li>\n<li>SwiftUI<\/li>\n<li>Combine and\/or RxSwift<\/li>\n<li>Working in large existing code bases<\/li>\n<li>Creating new well architected projects<\/li>\n<li>Full iOS development lifecycle from project creation to release signing<\/li>\n<li>Objective C<\/li>\n<li>HTML, CSS, Javascript<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Salt is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/c21hcnRpbmkuNDc5NDcuMTA3NzRAc2FsdC5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mid iOS Developer Salt is excited to have teamed up a growing Sports Media Organisation based in Melbourne, who is currently seeking a Mid iOS Developer to join them on a permanent basis.
