Their mission is to transform our clients&#8217; data collections into information that can drive better decisions. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Salt is partnering with them in search of a Data Engineer to deliver normalised schemas, optimised queries, and fault-tolerant data platforms.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong> What you&#8217;ll be doing:<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identifying data requirements and delivering data modelling and analysis activities.<\/li>\n<li>Designing and implementing end-to-end data warehouse, database, and reporting solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Assisting others in the design and implementation of database and reporting solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Implementing data governance to ensure data security, integrity, and quality.<\/li>\n<li>Modelling business data lifecycles and business data flows.<\/li>\n<li>Designing data pipelines, logic, and relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Selecting design standards, methods, and tools appropriate to the client&#8217;s technical environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/p>\n<h3>What you&#8217;ll bring:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree or beyond in Computer Science, Mathematics or similar.<\/li>\n<li>Extensive experience in Data Engineering and\/or Data Architecture.<\/li>\n<li>Extensive experience in Data Modelling, including relational modelling and star schemas.<\/li>\n<li>Extensive experience in developing data visualisation solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable experience in ETL, ELT and associated frameworks.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable experience in SQL authoring and profiling\/optimisation.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable experience in SQL Server best practices, SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable experience in handling both structured and unstructured data.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable knowledge of data formats (CSV, JSON, XML, and similar).<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable knowledge of on-premise and cloud data services.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills (technical, non-technical, and mixed audiences).<\/li>\n<li>A strong passion for solving complex issues and enabling customers to make data-driven decisions!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*Please be aware, we require Australian Citizenship as a minimum for this role as you will be required to obtain security clearance.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Feel free to reach out via email on tselvaratnam@welovesalt.com or give me a bell on 0477540806 to have an informal chat about this role.<\/p>\n<p>Salt is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/dHNlbHZhcmF0bmFtLjM3NTIwLjEwNzc0QHNhbHQuYXBsaXRyYWsuY29t.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About us!
