{"id":58507,"date":"2023-12-05T06:29:16","date_gmt":"2023-12-05T06:29:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/welovesalt.com\/au\/jobs\/%wpbb_job_industry%\/business-analyst-4\/"},"modified":"2024-02-03T13:12:37","modified_gmt":"2024-02-03T13:12:37","slug":"business-analyst-58507","status":"archive","type":"wpbb_job","link":"https:\/\/welovesalt.com\/au\/jobs\/technology\/business-analyst-58507\/","title":{"rendered":"Business Analyst"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Job Title<\/strong>: Business Analyst | Liquidity &amp; Treasury Management System (LTMS) space<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location<\/strong>: Melbourne<\/p>\n<p><strong>Contract Duration<\/strong>: 6 months (with expectations of extension)<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Implementing Calypso Treasury system<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>APRA Reporting &#8211; Data Remediation<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Elaborate business requirements for implementation of new treasury system (Calypso) used for institutional trading of financial instruments.<\/li>\n<li>Working closely with Credit risk, transaction reconciliation and stringent reporting requirements for inter-bank and institutional trades involving high value transactions and international funds settlements.<\/li>\n<li>Elaborate APRA requirements for SESCA classifications across all internal systems and design data centric strategy for mapping, system changes, process changes &amp; remediation of multiple core banking platforms.<\/li>\n<li>Documenting all APRA solution designs and communicate across various stakeholders and compliance team &amp; create business requirement document (BRD)<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with SMEs, OCM, product owners, traders, dealers, P&amp;L manager, market risk manager, trade reporting manager, SAP manager, Regulatory reporting manager, Data warehousing teams (EBI) and market data feed (Reuters, Bloomberg) stakeholders to elicit requirements and desired outcomes.<\/li>\n<li>Document &#8216;As is&#8217; and &#8216;To be&#8217; state of data flow and process maps between all integrated systems (internal and external) using MS Visio and Signavio tools.<\/li>\n<li>Focus on reducing manual intervention and increase efficiency with automation wherever possible.<\/li>\n<li>Gather requirements for APRA, DTCC and EMIR reporting and translate business needs into technical solution for the Treasury system.<\/li>\n<li>Author and create integration requirements and tailored APRA solution document to present to steering committee for facilitating funding approvals.<\/li>\n<li>Define file transfer and API Integration requirements for ETL, SIT, UAT and PROD environments and liaise with vendors to finalise optimal solution.<\/li>\n<li>Write precise acceptance criteria, business rules and given-when-then scenarios for system integration and APRA customer classification changes.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise closely with system architect and network engineers to confirm desired outcome v\/s available solutions to negotiate the most efficient solution.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with project manager for adherence of deadlines and elaboration timelines to facilitate timely technical writing, development and testing iterations.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with multiple vendor teams to communicate project requirements and within their scope of responsibilities.<\/li>\n<li>Use MS VISIO, JIRA, Confluence, MS Excel extensively for documenting and recording elaborated requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with Portfolio lead BA to communicate progress with respect to larger body of work carried out within transformation.<\/li>\n<li>Initiate relationships and conduct regular interviews, meetings and workshops with various business stakeholders and SMEs.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain Agile &#8216;Wall&#8217; with cards in progress. Project also conducted in part using Waterfall methodology.<\/li>\n<li>Help Test Manager schedule testing tasks and design testing matrix for vendor support requirements<\/li>\n<li>Write and compile Integration test cases and guide testers with UAT test cases.
