{"id":72296,"date":"2024-09-16T06:26:01","date_gmt":"2024-09-16T05:26:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/welovesalt.com\/au\/jobs\/%wpbb_job_industry%\/infrastructure-solution-architect\/"},"modified":"2024-10-09T08:37:03","modified_gmt":"2024-10-09T07:37:03","slug":"infrastructure-solution-architect-72296","status":"publish","type":"wpbb_job","link":"https:\/\/welovesalt.com\/au\/jobs\/technology\/infrastructure-solution-architect-72296\/","title":{"rendered":"Infrastructure Solution Architect"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>New opportunity for an IT Infrastructure Solution Architect to join a leading energy regulator committed to ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable energy services across Australia.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Overview of the opportunity:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The Infrastructure Architect will support the project teams across architectural design, analysis, and governance towards delivering successful implementation of fit-for-purpose and strategically aligned solutions, working towards transformational change across the business.<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate for this position will have technical knowledge across a broad range of technologies, including applications, cloud, security, integration and network services.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Role and responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Design various architectural layers (Conceptual and Solution Architecture Documents) for targeted programs, with an emphasis on Infrastructure Architecture.<\/li>\n<li>Engage in architecture governance and working group meetings to gain approval for solutions, standards, and design patterns.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the development of business cases and request for proposals.<\/li>\n<li>Update and maintain the Enterprise Repository with architecture revisions.<\/li>\n<li>Assist projects by identifying and managing risks and issues early in the process.<\/li>\n<li>Support the planning, implementation, and migration of applications and infrastructure services.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee architectural governance throughout the design, construction, and operational phases.<\/li>\n<li>Provide direction to technical teams to ensure detailed designs adhere to the target architecture, standards, and patterns.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Essential Skills Experience:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience completing and delivering Conceptual and Solution Architecture documents.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable experience developing infrastructure architecture in large, complex, and critical IT environments.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable experience with on-premise and public cloud (Azure mandatory) infrastructure design, from initial concept to implementation.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable experience designing solutions for integration technologies such as ESB, API Management, API Query \/ Inquiry Service, Websocket, Message Queue, Data Store, Logging, Archiving and Gateway software.<\/li>\n<li>Sound understanding of virtualisation technologies such as VMware, and Kubernetes containerisation.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and or experience with network technologies, such as Palo Alto firewalls, Load Balancers \/ Ingress Controllers such as F5, AVI, NGINX, and routing.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to present and communicate both business and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.<\/li>\n<li>Strong influencing skills with business and technical groups with ability to build networks across multiple stake holder groups.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated technology skills across multiple IT domains (application, security, infrastructure, and networks).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Education &amp; certifications:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.<\/li>\n<li>IT Architecture certification such as TOGAF and SABSA.<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft Azure certification.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>We are looking onboard a candidate for this requirement asap, please apply with up-to-date CV.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To explore other <a href=\"https:\/\/welovesalt.com\/au\/jobs\/job-industry\/technology\/\">Tech roles in Melbourne<\/a>, kindly get in touch with our team.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Acknowledgement of Country<\/p>\n<p>Salt respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the lands across Australia as the continuing custodians of country and culture.
