As a cybersecurity subject matter expert, you will deliver thought leadership, collaborate closely with other operational teams, and offer guidance to manage the constantly evolving cybersecurity threat landscape.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the global operations of technologies supporting the Cybersecurity function.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as the team lead for a small Security Operations Center (SOC) team.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with the Cybersecurity Operations Manager to oversee SOC activities and firewall device management, ensuring adherence to SLAs and operational metrics.<\/li>\n<li>Perform root cause analysis for cybersecurity incidents and implement control improvements.<\/li>\n<li>Provide strategic guidance to operational teams for configuring information security controls.<\/li>\n<li>Lead the development and maintenance of security standards for operating environments, working with relevant teams.<\/li>\n<li>Play a key role in the design and implementation of practical and effective cybersecurity defenses.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the active monitoring of cybersecurity threats and provide periodic technical compliance reports.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with the SOC and CISO Office to drive continuous improvement and innovation, offering expert advice on cybersecurity best practices, automation, and emerging trends.<\/li>\n<li>Innovate in the areas of security technology, operations, analytics, and visualizations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Qualifications &amp; Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Extensive experience in large-scale IT Security Operations.<\/li>\n<li>Expertise in cybersecurity technologies, particularly:<\/li>\n<li>Firewalls (Palo Alto)<\/li>\n<li>Threat Intelligence<\/li>\n<li>Attack Surface Management<\/li>\n<li>Intrusion Detection &amp; Prevention<\/li>\n<li>Vulnerability Management<\/li>\n<li>SIEM<\/li>\n<li>Email Gateway\/Security Awareness<\/li>\n<li>Privileged Access Management<\/li>\n<li>SASE (Secure Access Service Edge)<\/li>\n<li>Solid understanding of Data Center and Cloud security platforms and controls.<\/li>\n<li>Comprehensive knowledge of current threats in the cybersecurity landscape.<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to prioritize tasks and deliver high-quality services.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills, with significant experience in stakeholder management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/p>\n<p>Acknowledgement of Country<\/p>\n<p>Salt respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the lands across Australia as the continuing custodians of country and culture.
