{"id":73627,"date":"2024-11-06T02:46:51","date_gmt":"2024-11-06T02:46:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/welovesalt.com\/au\/jobs\/%wpbb_job_industry%\/product-technologist-food-fmcg\/"},"modified":"2024-11-06T02:46:51","modified_gmt":"2024-11-06T02:46:51","slug":"product-technologist-foodfmcg-73627","status":"publish","type":"wpbb_job","link":"https:\/\/welovesalt.com\/au\/jobs\/hr-business-operations\/product-technologist-foodfmcg-73627\/","title":{"rendered":"Product Technologist &#8211; Food\/FMCG"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Salt Search is partnering with a global FMCG company who has state of art manufacturing facilities throughout Australia &amp; the globe and hiring!!<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>This role will manage execution of Product related New Product Development (NPD) projects and improvement initiatives at factory level.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 14px\">Product Technologist &#8211; Food\/FMCG<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location: Regional NSW<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Offering $110K + super + Relocation package<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Min 3 years FMCG exp required<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Reporting to the Applications Group Manager and being a custodian of Product and Process for the Factory.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead product trials at Factory level with focus on line performance, cost efficiency on time delivery and product quality. <\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliant products are developed and maintained through the Innovation and Renovation and Product Performance processes to meet internal and external regulations. <\/li>\n<li>Support shelf-life, storage handling, laboratory and ingredient tests for validation of new and existing products and changes in specifications in collaboration with QA.<\/li>\n<li> Apply company&#8217;s Continuous Excellence methodology to initiate or participate in focused problem solving; identify and implement cost reductions. <\/li>\n<li>Organise and document factory trials including process and validation of new products and changes in specifications. <\/li>\n<li>Develop relationships with all key existing (and new) material suppliers. <\/li>\n<li>Implement product related quality and compliance directives. Drive quality improvements in our product cosmetics and product nutrition. <\/li>\n<li>Ensure development of competencies and knowledge at the shop floor.
