{"id":73652,"date":"2024-11-07T10:28:05","date_gmt":"2024-11-07T10:28:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/welovesalt.com\/au\/jobs\/%wpbb_job_industry%\/senior-product-designer\/"},"modified":"2025-01-06T13:08:47","modified_gmt":"2025-01-06T13:08:47","slug":"senior-product-designer-73652","status":"archive","type":"wpbb_job","link":"https:\/\/welovesalt.com\/au\/jobs\/creative\/senior-product-designer-73652","title":{"rendered":"Senior Product Designer"},"content":{"rendered":"<\/p>\n<p>A unique opportunity for an experienced designer looking for the next step in their career &#8211; perfect for someone in a larger company who wants to move faster, or from a smaller organisation looking to make a big impact in a fast-growing scale-up environment.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>As the sole Product Designer, you will have a fantastic opportunity to make a huge impact on a fast growing scale-up business, spearheading innovative design solutions.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 12px\">What You Will Do<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Run hands-on Design &amp; UX workshops, conduct research, apply insights, conduct user flows, journey maps and sketches.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute your expertise to critical design projects and influence product direction and strategy across the full suite of products.<\/li>\n<li>Own design decisions and be a steward of design excellence<\/li>\n<li>Apply HCD and customer-centric thinking for exceptional user experiences.<\/li>\n<li>Aply both qualitative and quantitative research methods, including journey and empathy mapping.<\/li>\n<li>Utilise prototyping methods, from low to high fidelity.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and employ design systems, with a focus on responsive design.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Technology teams, and other business stakeholders to drive outcomes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 12px\">We&#8217;re Looking For<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years working in product design.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with complex B2B2C SAAS, Payments, Payment Gateway, or eCommerce products would be advantageous.<\/li>\n<li>Extensive experience with Figma or similar design tools is essential.<\/li>\n<li>Expertise in agile methodologies, and experience working with offshore delivery teams.<\/li>\n<li>Extensive visual and interactive design experience with a background in creating accessible and inclusive designs.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to confidently lead workshops, and inspire, and encourage innovation.<\/li>\n<li>A passion for being hands-on\/in the detail &#8211; doing the market research, determining customer needs and preferences, completing rough sketches, as well as design software and detailed drawings.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work across multiple streams of the business &#8211; engaging with stakeholders, communicating between teams, and interacting with customers and delivery partners.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage ambiguity and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 12px\">What&#8217;s In It For You<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hybrid\/flexible work options &#8211; 3 days in the office.<\/li>\n<li>Brand new, state of the art office space in the CBD.<\/li>\n<li>Health Scheme worth $400 annually, annual L&amp;D budget worth $3,000, Birthday Leave.<\/li>\n<li>Recognition and rewards platform with access to top brand gift cards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sounds good but not quite right for you?
