You&#8217;ll leverage <strong>descriptive and predictive analytics<\/strong> to optimize processes, uncover opportunities, and deliver strategic insights that directly impact our business.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with <strong>Sales &amp; Account Management<\/strong> teams to apply analytics that drive measurable improvements.<\/li>\n<li>Identify inefficiencies and opportunities in existing processes, designing and analyzing experiments to enhance <strong>speed, cost, and order efficiency<\/strong> for sellers.<\/li>\n<li>Tackle complex, cross-functional challenges that go beyond traditional product and data science boundaries.<\/li>\n<li>Champion <strong>data best practices<\/strong>, fostering a <strong>data-driven culture<\/strong> across teams.<\/li>\n<li>Develop <strong>core business metrics and KPIs<\/strong> in tools like <strong>Tableau, Looker, or Thoughtspot<\/strong> to track and measure business performance.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with <strong>Data Engineering &amp; Business Intelligence<\/strong> teams to establish high-quality data pipelines and curated data sources.<\/li>\n<li>Apply a mix of <strong>statistical analysis, quantitative reasoning, and machine learning<\/strong> to generate insights that inform business strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure maximum impact on <strong>strategic decisions and business outcomes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Present findings to senior stakeholders through <strong>compelling visual, written, and verbal communication<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Build tools and resources that <strong>empower teams with self-service data access<\/strong>, maximizing the reach of your expertise.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>What We&#8217;re Looking For:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>8+ years<\/strong> of experience in <strong>analytics and data science<\/strong> or equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>Strong proficiency in <strong>SQL and Python<\/strong>, with experience applying <strong>statistical and machine learning techniques<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with <strong>A\/B testing, hypothesis testing, and experimental design<\/strong>, translating results into actionable business decisions.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to <strong>manipulate, analyze, and interpret<\/strong> large data sets independently.<\/li>\n<li>Expertise in at least one <strong>data visualization tool<\/strong> (preferably <strong>Tableau<\/strong>).<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence <strong>cross-functional partners<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience applying both <strong>data-backed heuristics and machine learning<\/strong> to solve business challenges.<\/li>\n<li>A track record of leading and contributing to <strong>cross-functional projects<\/strong>, working across multiple disciplines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/p>\n<p>Acknowledgement of Country<\/p>\n<p>Salt respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the lands across Australia as the continuing custodians of country and culture.
