{"id":76975,"date":"2025-03-12T01:07:35","date_gmt":"2025-03-12T01:07:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/welovesalt.com\/au\/jobs\/%wpbb_job_industry%\/quantitative-analyst\/"},"modified":"2025-03-12T01:07:36","modified_gmt":"2025-03-12T01:07:36","slug":"quantitative-analyst-76975","status":"publish","type":"wpbb_job","link":"https:\/\/welovesalt.com\/au\/jobs\/technology\/quantitative-analyst-76975\/","title":{"rendered":"Quantitative Analyst"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Salt has partnered with a Private Fund Manager who is looking for a career-driven Quantitative Analyst with hands-on experience using Python as well as excellent knowledge with derivatives or equities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The role:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You will be building market simulation engines, <em>quantitative <\/em>modelling and developing existing algorithms within the client&#8217;s platform in Python;<\/li>\n<li>You will be working within a variety of disciplines, designing, coding, verifying, testing, documenting, and amending programs and integration software services;<\/li>\n<li>Be an advocate for the adoption of Agile\/Scrum practices, methodologies, and attitudes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What makes you a good fit:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of 4 years of commercial experience using <strong>Python<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of Quantitative Analysis \/ Development;<\/li>\n<li>Strong domain knowledge of derivatives or equities;<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Investment \/ Quantitative Strategies;<\/li>\n<li>Data Analysis and Manipulation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In this role you will have the opportunity to skill-up in additional areas as we expand our scope with the following languages\/technologies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>AWS Services (EC2, S3, Lambda, SNS, etc)<\/li>\n<li>Machine Learning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bachelor&#8217;s Degree (or higher) in engineering, computer science, or equivalent<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What&#8217;s in it for you:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hybrid or remote working environment;<\/li>\n<li>Being part of a highly collaborative and supportive team of diverse developers and engineers;<\/li>\n<li>Using modern technologies, practices and architectures;<\/li>\n<li>Flexible work environment and excellent career growth opportunities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Acknowledgement of Country<\/p>\n<p>Salt respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the lands across Australia as the continuing custodians of country and culture.
