Join the company combining deep trading acumen with cutting-edge analytics and technology to be able to shape the global markets of tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>As a Senior Data Research Engineer you will be responsible for the curation of large-scale structured and unstructured data and for data assimilation across a multitude of sources. You will be focusing on the translation of high-level conceptual queries to efficient back-end queries on extremely large-scale data collections.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Act as data owner of several datasets each with its own unique schema and delivery frequency;<\/li>\n<li>Partner with researchers to produce high-value datasets;<\/li>\n<li>Design, create, automate, and maintain custom data pipelines;<\/li>\n<li>Extract the raw data, clean and normalize the data;<\/li>\n<li>Translate high-level market research concepts into scalable processes that further transform the data;<\/li>\n<li>Develop high-performance schemas and queries;<\/li>\n<li>Load the processed dataset to a format easily digested by quantitative researchers and models;<\/li>\n<li>Setup analytical infrastructure to facilitate exploration and visualization of datasets;<\/li>\n<li>Large scale cloud development of applications as a service<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>What makes you a good fit:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong>Required Skills:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrated experience driving meaningful business outcomes through data engineering;<\/li>\n<li>Prior ownership of a data project (or at least a large part of it);<\/li>\n<li>Good analytical and quantitative abilities;<\/li>\n<li>End-to end experience with building ETL data pipelines from scratch;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Preferred Skills:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with data manipulation and query design and optimization;<\/li>\n<li>Experience in time series forecasting and machine learning techniques;<\/li>\n<li>Strong data science skills;<\/li>\n<li>Strong coding skills: proficiency in Python, SQL DBs, Cloud, schedulers, containers, CI\/CD, software packaging<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you believe you are a great fit for the position, then don&#8217;t hesitate to apply &amp; we will be in touch with you shortly.
