{"id":77479,"date":"2025-06-17T00:42:58","date_gmt":"2025-06-16T23:42:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/welovesalt.com\/au\/jobs\/%wpbb_job_industry%\/lead-tooling-innovation-engineer"},"modified":"2025-06-17T00:42:59","modified_gmt":"2025-06-16T23:42:59","slug":"tech-lead-77479","status":"publish","type":"wpbb_job","link":"https:\/\/welovesalt.com\/au\/jobs\/technology\/tech-lead-77479","title":{"rendered":"Tech Lead"},"content":{"rendered":"<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tech Lead &#8211; Melbourne<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Company<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Salt is excited to have partnered with a leading e-Commerce organisation based in Melbourne who is currently seeking a Tech Lead to join one of their innovative Software Engineering teams on a permanent basis.<\/p>\n<p>Please note, this is a hybrid role based in Melbourne (3 days onsite) and all applicants must have full working rights in Australia to apply for this position.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As a Tech Lead Engineer, you will be joining a newly formed Engineering team, where you&#8217;ll be responsible for leading the development various cutting-edge internal tools and applications, as well as overseeing a small team of Engineers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Skills and Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The successful Tech Lead should have the following skill set:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In depth experience working with Python or TypeScript<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge in AWS and Automation, including various tools<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience building CI\/CD pipelines<\/li>\n<li>An expert in GitHub<\/li>\n<li>Passionate about AI<\/li>\n<li>Experienced working in an Agile environment<\/li>\n<li>Full working rights in Australia<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you&#8217;re interested then apply now, as we are interviewing for this role immediately!
