Initial 12 month day rate contract with high likelihood of extensions<\/li>\n<li>Offering: $850-980 including super per day<\/li>\n<li>Location: Work Remotely from anywhere in Australia<\/li>\n<li>Product Manage a sophisticated VFX Bidding System<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>***Please Note:<\/strong> To be considered for this role, you must have had BOTH Product Management experience and VFX experience.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s totally fine if your product management experience and your VFX experience come from different roles and don&#8217;t overlap. For example, you may have been working previously in the VFX space and then later transitioned into product management***<\/p>\n<h2><strong>What&#8217;s in it for you?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Work for a Global Household Name with an amazing brand and reputation!<\/li>\n<li>Work with a passionate hands-on leader and a talented team<\/li>\n<li>Take ownership of a sophisticated VFX Bidding System<\/li>\n<li>Play a key role in new feature development and optimisation for the VFX Bidding System<\/li>\n<li>Multi-year pipeline of work \/ projects<\/li>\n<li>Competitive Pay on offer<\/li>\n<li>Remote working from anywhere in Australia!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>What you&#8217;ll be doing?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>In this role, you&#8217;ll be product managing a sophisticated VFX Bidding System<\/li>\n<li>At first, you&#8217;ll be gaining a deep understanding of how the bidding system works so you can become the system expert and then educate various users and stakeholders around this system<\/li>\n<li>Working closely with your immediate team which focuses on this VFX Bidding System. This includes; the Team Leader \/ Product Owner (the leader of this team who you&#8217;ll also report into), two Developers, and a Scrum Master.<\/li>\n<li>Servicing users of the VFX Bidding System. This System is used by bidding producers as well as production finance team members<\/li>\n<li>Conducting user interviews to better understand their requirements and working with the Team Leader \/ Product Owner to prioritise these needs<\/li>\n<li>Managing the development roadmap and communicating with key business stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Working with the Scrum Master to create and foster an efficient development environment where user requirements are translated into tickets and development work is scheduled and tracked<\/li>\n<li>Managing the project schedule with the Scrum Master and the developers<\/li>\n<li>Partnering closely with the Team Leader \/ Product Owner in mapping out the future direction of the system and planning for new systems both from a functional and architectural perspective<\/li>\n<li>Being a point of contact for new feature requests, bug notifications and other queries<\/li>\n<li>Creating and maintaining documentation for the system<\/li>\n<li>Putting together training materials and conducting user training for the system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>What you&#8217;ll bring?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven product management experience and VFX experience (experience in the fields of animation and video gaming will also be considered)<\/li>\n<li>Great communication skills and the ability to take multiple stakeholders on the journey of product\/system optimisation<\/li>\n<li>An understanding of how financing works in the VFX Bidding Process (nice to have)<\/li>\n<li>Strong experience in the areas of product managing an existing product as well as playing a role in architecting new product ideas<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with a Scrum Master and a small team of developers<\/li>\n<li>Experience in training users of a system<\/li>\n<li>Experience with user stories<\/li>\n<li>Experience with documenting the workings of a system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>How to Apply?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>To apply online, please click on the link below!<\/p>\n<p>Alternatively, for a confidential discussion or to discuss other <a href=\"https:\/\/welovesalt.com\/au\/jobs\/technology\">technology jobs in Sydney<\/a>, please contact Jimmy Flynn on 0488 732 269.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Acknowledgement of Country<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Salt respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the lands across Australia as the continuing custodians of country and culture.
