We are looking for a network operations person who can understand automation<\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the role:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain and deploy modern computer networks based on business and technical requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with project and program managers to meet overall timelines and resolution of issues.<\/li>\n<li>Operate and troubleshoot networks to identify and resolve issues quickly.<\/li>\n<li>Take a lead role in the engagement and mitigation of outage causing events or issues.<\/li>\n<li> Validate problem descriptions and perform detailed problem diagnosis; track and update problems in trouble-ticketing system.<\/li>\n<li> Perform non-critical investigations into functionality that is not working as desired.<\/li>\n<li>Engage deeply in the sustainment function to proactively analyze network parameters such as capacity and availability to ensure issues are fixed before they cause an outage.<\/li>\n<li>Review, consult and prepare for planned change introduction to production environment.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with teams to plan and execute software code upgrades and device maintenance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>7+ years&#8217; experience in networking with a solid foundation in routing, switching, security and load balancing.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>7+ years of <strong>firewall administration.<\/strong> Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortigate<\/li>\n<li>7+ years of load balancer administration. F5 BigIP, NGINX, NetScaler<\/li>\n<li>6+ years of<strong> public cloud experience with a focus on networking. AWS, GCP or Azure<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>A minimum of 5 years of experience in working on <strong>Internet and data center networks.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>RedHat\/CentOS linux.<\/li>\n<li>Virtualization and container management. Kubernetes, OpenStack, linux KVM<\/li>\n<li>Continuous Integration\/Continuous Deployment (CI\/CD): using DevOps, Bit Bucket, GitHub.<\/li>\n<li>Possess a solid understanding of and have experience with most of the following network technologies: BGP, OSPF, HSRP\/VRRP, IPSEC, SNMP, ECMP.<\/li>\n<li>Deep, hands-on experience with TCP\/IP protocols including capturing and analyzing traffic with Wireshark and\/or other tools.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with Cisco IOS and JunOS operating systems required.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to partner with peers who are globally distributed is a key part of this role.<\/li>\n<li>Passion for customer experiences and focus on delivering high quality support.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills and empathy for customers.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to learn new technology in a fast-paced environment.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to deal with ambiguity, efficient time management with competing priorities<\/li>\n<li><strong>Heavy focus on projects<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nice to have : <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Scripting and automation: bash\/python.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>High performance computing.
