With 14 key risk areas identified across both IT and OT environments, we&#8217;re now looking for an exceptional <strong>Senior Cyber Security Business Analyst<\/strong> to help shape and define the strategy for remediation.<\/p>\n<p>This is not a standard BA role. We&#8217;re seeking a <strong>well-rounded, professional, and business-savvy consultant<\/strong> who combines a strong Business Analysis toolkit with proven Cyber Security experience, commercial acumen, and the ability to operate confidently with senior executives and board members.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you&#8217;ll be doing<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Partner with the CISO&#8217;s team to define and structure a remediation program addressing critical IT &amp; OT risks.<\/li>\n<li>Engage with Domain Architects, Solution Architects, business stakeholders, and potentially board-level leaders.<\/li>\n<li>Build robust business cases, including costings, resource projections, NPV models, and risk impact assessments.<\/li>\n<li>Help shape a pragmatic yet forward-thinking plan that balances compliance needs with the organisation&#8217;s ambition to be industry-leading in Cyber.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to prioritisation of the 14 identified risk areas, with focus on the first 4 high-impact initiatives within the next 12 months.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What we&#8217;re looking for<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Non-Negotiable:<\/strong> Demonstrated Cyber Security project experience, particularly across IT &amp; OT risk environments.<\/li>\n<li>Strong background in <strong>Business Analysis<\/strong>, with a track record in business case development and financial modelling.<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional <strong>stakeholder management skills<\/strong> &#8211; able to translate complex cyber concepts into business language, influence decisions, and build consensus.<\/li>\n<li>Commercially astute and comfortable balancing risk, cost, and long-term value.<\/li>\n<li>A consultant&#8217;s mindset &#8211; articulate, lateral thinker, outcome-focused, and able to challenge constructively.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Why this role matters<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This organisation provides <strong>essential services to the state<\/strong>, and the identified risks are at the highest severity level.
