They are a forward-thinking company who has had huge success in first few years of trading. Offering three different services they accommodate consumers and business from small to large enterprises. They have a number of global investors backing them with more in the pipeline. Now a series B hyper growth business within web 3, they are making a number of key hires across the business and hired Salt exclusively to help them with their search.<\/p>\n<p>One of these roles is for their first Communications hire who will build their PR and Communication&#8217;s functions from scratch. They are now looking to bring in a very senior Global Head of Media Relations to step into complex yet rewarding position. The ideal candidate will come from a similar industry in cryptocurrency or fintech but a personal interest in crypto and industry knowledge is a must. You will have ample experience covering PR globally including handling tier 1 media coverage. You will be good at creating new relationships and should have some strong connections to bring to the table. You will be able to fit within a scale up culture, being comfortable working in a environment not driven by process or structure. Report directly to senior business leaders you will grow their communications function and create a strong brand presence across the Globe.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"color: black;font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;font-size: 7.5pt\">Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and execute a highly-effective &#8220;tier one&#8221; media strategy <\/li>\n<li>Lead global pitching of proactive news stories to influential global media outlets<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with local teams across the organisation&#8217;s globally decentralised team to ensure a coherent global story<\/li>\n<li>Seek out content and partnership opportunities to promote thought leadership, including speaking engagements and platforms<\/li>\n<li>Develop and manage internal and external communications strategy around issues and sensitivities, including positioning statements and reputation management<\/li>\n<li>Monitor new legislation and compliance trends, opportunities and stories across the globe in the cryptocurrency sector<\/li>\n<li>Develop crisis comms plans, holding statements and scenario planning for potential issues, including litigation, regulatory compliance, cybersecurity\/breaches and more<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"color: black;font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;font-size: 7.5pt\">Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#183; 7+ years of experience as a global communications leader for an internationally recognised technology or financial company.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You have the ability to manage complex issues quickly and effectively with a proven record of building successful communications campaigns.<\/li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of global media with deep understanding and relationships with key journalists.<\/li>\n<li>Experience advising C-suite executives on media relations and issues management<\/li>\n<li>Highly-effective team leader, with a proven track record in managing multi-country teams<\/li>\n<li>Experienced in managing a broad network of PR agencies<\/li>\n<li>Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision and strong follow up skills; proactive and collaborative<\/li>\n<li>Excellent project management and organisational skills; able to prioritise and work under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Works well in a fast-paced environment<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with media\/reporters, notably in the financial, business or cryptocurrency sector<\/li>\n<li>Experience in public policy or affairs and media<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/dG1jbWFob24uODk1MDQuMTI0OTRAc2FsdC5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Head of Communications &#8211; Cryptocurrency Offers Fully Remote Working Salary &#163;120,000 competitive with Bonus and Equity My client is a world leading cryptocurrency specialist business globally with a presence in over 35 countries.
