{"id":271710,"date":"2024-02-05T17:25:07","date_gmt":"2024-02-05T16:25:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/welovesalt.com\/\/be\/jobs\/%wpbb_job_industry%\/fixed-asset-accoutant-freelance-contractor\/"},"modified":"2024-03-22T12:25:47","modified_gmt":"2024-03-22T11:25:47","slug":"fixed-asset-accoutant-freelance-contractor-271710","status":"archive","type":"wpbb_job","link":"https:\/\/welovesalt.com\/be\/jobs\/technology\/fixed-asset-accoutant-freelance-contractor-271710\/","title":{"rendered":"Fixed Asset Accoutant (Freelance Contractor)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Fixed Asset Accountant (Freelance Contract) &#8211; Banking Client &#8211; Hybrid working <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Duration: 6-12 months in duration<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Rate: 300 &#8211; 500 Euros per day<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Hybrid Working &#8211; You will be needed in Poland for team meetings<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You will be joining the InterCompany and Fixed Assets team.<\/li>\n<li>Your role will be to operationalize inter-company arrangements and run Fixed Assets accounting.<\/li>\n<li>Your main tool will be Oracle E Business Suite.<\/li>\n<li>Your responsibility will include the closing of Fixed Assets module, the processing of the recharges, reporting and analysis of the recharge evolution and versus budget. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Role<\/strong><br \/> As member of InterCompany and Fixed Assets team, your responsibilities will include several business areas:<\/p>\n<p> Project accounting (PA) <br \/> Will include but not limited to:<br \/> * Monthly Project Accounting processing and closing;<br \/> * Creation of project assets and reconciliation of assets under construction; <br \/> * Identify and resolve all differences between modules (GL \/ PA \/ AP \/ AR) and entities;<br \/> * Output reporting and related commentaries;<br \/> * Reconciliation of the related accounts and internal controls documentation;<br \/> * Maintain the policies and procedures;<br \/> * Support internal and external auditors on related accounts;<br \/> * Act as team contact point for relationship with our internal clients.<\/p>\n<p> ChargeBack (CB)<br \/> Will include but not limited to:<br \/> * Participation to overall recharge budgeting and forecasting activities;<br \/> * Perform monthly invoicing;<br \/> * Collect necessary approvals for intercompany processing;<br \/> * Perform necessary reconciliation on accounts and between tools involved in the process;<br \/> * Output reporting and related commentaries;<br \/> * Support internal and external auditors on related accounts;<br \/> * Contribute to committees where the team participation is required.<\/p>\n<p> Fixed Asset Accounting<br \/> * Perform the monthly Fixed Assets module closing;<br \/> * Perform reconciliations\/investigations\/&#8230;and potential accounting corrections;<br \/> * Perform the physical inventories in dedicated tools;<br \/> * Reconciliation of related accounts and internal controls<br \/> * Perform the impairment review;<br \/> * Maintain the documentation of policies and procedures;<br \/> * Provide support to internal and external audits;<\/p>\n<p> Specific projects and continuous improvement<br \/> * Participation to inception and implementation of projects to automate and improve the team&#8217;s activities.<\/p>\n<p> Qualifications<\/p>\n<p> Your profile:<\/p>\n<p> * Education: Accounting degree, or equivalent by experience.<br \/> * Fast learner, adaptable and able to work in a dynamic and changing environment. <br \/> * At least 5 years of experience in an accounting function, <br \/> * Able to work both independently and as part of a team.<br \/> * Good analytical skills and well organized<br \/> * Proficient user of the MS Office suite, especially Excel<br \/> * Experience in working with an integrated ERP system, preferably Oracle is an asset.<br \/> * Good understanding of theoretical\/practical aspects of accounting<br \/> * Good knowledge of English.
