Anyone not living and based in Belgium will NOT be considered for the role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Family:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><\/strong>Conducts a wide range of quality control tests and analyses to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements:<\/li>\n<li>Drafts, revises and approves test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with standards and IT strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Builds test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates with users to plan user acceptance testing, alpha and beta testing.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that system tests are successfully completed and detailed, and all problems are resolved.<\/li>\n<li>Contributes to or manages the deployment preparation and execution for both Pre-Production and Production until the warranty period.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>General Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leads testing in a sophisticated environment for one or more standard to large projects.<\/li>\n<li>Manages the preparation and deployment of systems and\/or applications.<\/li>\n<li>Serves as the main reference point for critical issues and is responsible for planning and supervising the work of the team as well as external vendors.<\/li>\n<li>Has recognised expertise \/ authority in testing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Role:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Typically requires organisational and expertise in testing. Uses these proficiency&#8217;s to:<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that testing is carried out within budget and established procedures, meeting the project testing objectives within quality, time, and budget targets.<\/li>\n<li>Analyses and supervises risks in the area of testing, identifies their potential consequences, and takes appropriate actions to prevent them from materialising into issues.<\/li>\n<li>Validates the product design documentation to make sure that requirements stated are suitable for the testing activity, are unambiguous and are verifiable.<\/li>\n<li>Schedules tests for execution, then monitors, measures, controls, and reports on test progress, product quality status, and test results.<\/li>\n<li>Produces a summary test report at the end of the project.<\/li>\n<li>May manage deployment by consolidating the release scenario, collecting authorisations, coordinating change delivery, and supporting operations immediately after deployment.<\/li>\n<li>Provides feedback and development input into quality assurance processes\/ methodologies and risk management strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Works with a high level of autonomy, with performance and achievements being subject to managerial review.<\/li>\n<li>Works and communicates with other collaborators and vendors to ensure an effective quality assurance process is maintained and developed in the organisation.<\/li>\n<li>May mentor other testers into this role.
