In this exciting and fast-paced role, the successful candidate will gain exposure to SEO & digital marketing campaigns across a wide range of industries. They are looking for someone with great written English and an interest in SEO Marketing to join their expanding SEO-focused copywriting team.<\/p>\n
As a Senior Copywriter, you’ll adapt to different tones of voice efficiently and effectively, with an ability to story-tell both rationally and emotionally – to connect our client’s key messages with their audiences in ways everyone will remember.<\/p>\n
Main Duties & Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
● Working with clients to produce engaging and concise copy & articles<\/p>\n
● Assisting the SEO team in producing on-site copy, optimized for organic search<\/p>\n
● Conduct SEO research for high-performing keywords to ensure content aligns with SEO goals<\/p>\n
● Work with the outreach team to create engaging content to aid in link acquisition goals<\/p>\n
● Conduct trends reports and GAP analysis for clients<\/p>\n
● Track monthly content performance<\/p>\n
● Manage a small team (1-2) of Junior writers<\/p>\n
● Assist with, and contribute to, strategic planning solutions that will drive client’s business results<\/p>\n
● Explore creative insights from sources of all kinds, including data, and turn them into on-brand ideas to spark engagement<\/p>\n
● Contribute to creative ideation and develop pitches and presentations<\/p>\n
● Creating and managing editorial calendars<\/p>\n
● Create and direct copy projects – internally and externally<\/p>\n
● Develop direct client relationships to support the workflow<\/p>\n
● Support the development of internal processes to support efficiencies within the team<\/p>\n
and drive quality improvements<\/p>\n
● Work closely with our UI \/ UX Designers to create copy-supporting visuals<\/p>\n
Skills, knowledge and experience<\/p>\n
● Digital copywriting experience<\/p>\n
● Experience concepting and writing high-quality copy<\/p>\n
● Experience supervising Junior Copywriters and Mid-Weight Copywriters<\/p>\n
● First-class written and verbal communication skills<\/p>\n
● Punctilious attention to detail<\/p>\n
● Ability to manage deadlines and plan own time effectively<\/p>\n
● SEO knowledge and understanding<\/p>\n
● Good knowledge of digital marketing trends<\/p>\n
● Be passionate about SEO and staying at the forefront of innovation and technology<\/p>\n
● Bachelor’s degree or higher in English \/ or Journalism<\/p>\n
● Additional advantages but not essential:<\/p>\n
o Global Campaign Experience<\/p>\n
o Ecommerce client experience<\/p>\n
About the right candidate: <\/p>\n
● 3-5+ years of Senior Copywriting experience – able to provide samples of previous work\/a published portfolio<\/p>\n
● Highly creative & imaginative<\/p>\n
● Strong written and verbal communication skills<\/p>\n
● Excellent research skills<\/p>\n
● Be able to work under pressure<\/p>\n
● An understanding and appreciation for SEO<\/p>\n
● Able to work to targets in a fast-paced environment<\/p>\n
● Proven time-management skills to handle multiple projects<\/p>\n
● Proven managerial skills<\/p>\n
● An understanding of E-A-T & Google standards for writing<\/p>\n
● You’ll have an enthusiastic and positive outlook<\/p>\n
● Eager to learn, to challenge, to be challenged, with a desire to develop new writing skills<\/p>\n
