Not a cool way of starting your day, is it?<\/p>\n<p>Our client is a market leader in managing financial risk through supporting banks, retail shops, and payment processors to prevent situations like the above from happening.<\/p>\n<p>At present we are looking for Cloud Reliability Engineers to play a key role in delivering and managing overall availability, performance, efficiency, monitoring, emergency response and capacity planning of the cloud services provided to our clients&#8217; customers. As part of the product team, you&#8217;ll work with other reliability engineers with a deep understanding of our client&#8217;s products and environments to assure and improve their Cloud operation, and so contributing directly to the capacity and availability of their service.<\/p>\n<p>Who Are You<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You are a person that is curious and customer centric.<\/li>\n<li>You enjoy working with members of the team, and other teams, in providing the best operational service possible to your customers<\/li>\n<li>When problems occur, you feel the urge to identify the root cause of the problems and how you can improve the solution to prevent it in the future.<\/li>\n<li>You accept the fact that failures will happen and align with key stakeholders to plan solution architectures to address issues.<\/li>\n<li>You have an Operational Excellence mindset (CloudNetSec) and enjoy working in a DevOps environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Guarantee general availability and resilience of cloud environments.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in incident response, root cause investigation and resolution.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to infrastructure as code (IaC), and support development activities aiming at automating manual activities and reducing operational effort.<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshoot and optimize high availability and performance issues.<\/li>\n<li>Use the best tools for the job including writing your own if that&#8217;s the best option.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Qualifications<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience working in Cloud Operations, and\/or Software Development teams is desirable.<\/li>\n<li>Good programming skills (e.g., Python, Bash); Java experience is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of Linux Systems.<\/li>\n<li>Real-world experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).<\/li>\n<li>Experience in supporting production systems.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of service metrics (e.g., SLA, SLO).<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of service monitoring metrics.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge in CI\/CD processes (preferably Cloud Native CI\/CD solutions) desirable<\/li>\n<li>Certifications in Public Cloud desirable (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)<\/li>\n<li>Continuous service improvement mindset<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Help protect the people you care about \u2026..
