They are looking for a Freelance mid-weight/ Senior UX Researcher to help lead and direct projects, support and mentor a user research team, define and refine the way disciplines work together, support new business, and so much more.
They are the User-Centred Design partner for multiple government agencies. Working in these sectors will give you valuable experience in applying Government Service Standards and preparing for Government Service Assessments.
As a freelance mid-weight/ Senior UX Researcher, you will have the opportunity to work across multiple sectors and gain valuable experience in applying Government Service Standards while preparing for Government Service Assessments. You’ll even get the chance to rotate from one sector to another after 3 to 12 months (depending on the project), which enables you to develop in-depth knowledge of a variety of sectors.
They are seeking someone who can lead the development of research frameworks, plan research to uncover the key factors affecting service and its use and use the most suitable methods to lead in the analysis of research to identify and summarise actionable insights. You must be able to analyse and synthesise findings from user research to produce robust, evidence-based user stories and advise other researchers on the choice and application of techniques for analysis and synthesis.
The ideal candidate should be someone who is confident in applying agile methods in practice, can lead teams and ensure adherence to the guidelines of the Government Service Manual for Research, and lead methods that help the team think about how to ensure the product/service is inclusive, accessible, and equitable.
You’ll also get to work with some amazing people and clients, so you should be someone who enjoys building relationships, spotting and nurturing opportunities, and supporting the user research team, including mentoring colleagues and contributing to recruitment activities.
