Over the past few years they’ve built awesome teams in analytics & data engineering, and are now looking to capitalise on their foundations by putting together a best-in-class data science unit.

With awesome data scientists in the US & the UK, we are now looking for a charismatic, energetic, hands-on Head of Data Science to drive their product offering.

They’ve outlined some immediate opportunities already, but ultimately we are looking for a leader with the business acumen to unleash this teams potential. Someone who can understand the big picture, engage curious clients, shape new products, and pitch amazing ideas.

It’s not all thinking and selling though… we’re looking for a person who is passionate about building brand new data products. You’ll be identifying opportunities, developing the models, and taking them to market – engaging with data engineering and analytics teams along the way. You’ll be able to get your boots on the ground doing some fantastic cutting-edge data science work.

The focus is on predictive modelling, mix marketing modelling (MMM), AdOps, AdTech, generative AI, NLP and more. It’s a sandbox for you to come and have fun in!

Skills & Experience Required:

• Educated to degree level in a STEM subject (ideally MSc or above) such as Computer Science, Machine Learning, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics etc.
• Advanced skills with Python or R, and SQL
• Knowledge of cloud platform GCP (or Azure or AWS)
• Strong familiarity with data visualization platforms such as PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau, Looker and digital analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
• Experience with advanced AI & Machine Learning techniques and methodologies, connected to digital advertising and marketing
• Exceptional relationship building skills, and strong business acumen to engage clients
• The ability to be a data story teller, data translator and influencer.
• And skilled in pitching for new business, presenting to clients and taking them on a journey
• Solid team leadership skills in order to inspire and build a brand new team
