Salt is collaborating once again with one of the worlds largest and most well known travel hospitality companies as they seek to hire a Market Manager to join their Northern Europe team.
In this exciting, immediate starting role, you will help to develop and execute the supply strategy for the Dutch Market and lead their growth within The Netherlands. Focused on supply acquisition, you will be responsible for maximising relationships with existing clients with the goal of supply optimisation in their assigned geographical areas.
While focused on the Dutch Market, this is a UK based role and will require hybrid working to their London HQ.
Key Role Requirements:
- Directly manage accounts to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales goals
- Create and implement strategies to effectively manage & optimise the long-tail of numerous clients in the specific region
- Build and manage key professional partner relationships within assigned territory
- Effectively analyse data and utilise data-driven recommendations to identify opportunities for action on strategic opportunities to drive increase in sales
- Prospect and onboard new, high quality supply in your assigned geography
- Maintain a baseline understanding of the technical integration of various software partners so that you can provide the right support to your clients
- Educate clients on significant product changes and feedback on product and policy to relevant internal stakeholders
- Develop deep knowledge of the assigned geographic market and become the go-to source for all info relating to local trends and market dynamics for internal and external partners
Key Skills Required:
- Ideally hold 5+ years of experience in new sales, account management and partner support
- Excellent language skills – Both English and Dutch fluency is required
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills
- Proven track record of being able to effectively work a leads pipeline and/or a book of business
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients via phone, email, and in-person
- Proficient quantitative skills and proven ability to interpret and apply data throughout your day-to-day work
- Highly proficient in using CRM software, specifically in working with leads, opportunities and other core objects – Salesforce experience is a plus
