Data Security Architect

The primary responsibilities of the Data Security Architect, reporting into the CTO, will be to work as an individual contributor within the Technology and Product Development team to ensure that best practices related to securing data handling are properly implemented throughout my clients product portfolio and related third party services .

This role will have responsibility to own, implement and innovate data, security and best practices, and will work with other technical and non-technical teams to provide expertise in secure design and implementation of new systems and services. The Data Security Architect will also provide security guidance and best practices input for the development of new policies, standards, and procedures to meet changing business needs. The role will require you to work with Security and Data Protection team, be involved in client RFPs and Third Party / Partner conversations.

Successful candidates will have knowledge and experience in

• Proven career success in the Data Protection and Security
• Overall field of information security with significant time spent solely in a security function within an organisation.
• CISSP or similar certifications are preferred as well as experience in environments with standards-based security certifications or attestations (ISO, NIST, etc.).
• complex problem-solving skills and an ability to lead groups of people towards a common direction and engage with others to facilitate resolutions.
• GDPR standards and experience in implementing it for at least one product. The ability to drive consensus amongst peers and to generate the insights necessary to facilitate top-down process or technology change will also be important.
