DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer | 3-month contract | Outside IR35 | London

My client has an exciting opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to work for a venture start-up, inside one of the world’s leading management consultancy firms.

The Sr. DevOps Engineer will take the responsibility of executing DevOps Strategy as defined by the CTO. In practical terms, this will include writing code, automating build, test, deployment of code and various environments (Infrastructure as a Code) all the way through to production.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide in-house DevOps Engineering services to the customer experience team to build products and solutions that can be taken to the client.
• Mentoring junior software developers in gaining experience and assuming DevOps responsibilities.
• Help design and implement website and multi environment solutions.
• Managing the installation and configuration of solutions including infrastructure build code.
• Automate build and deployment of multiple environments with highest quality, security requirements across various product lines.
• Design, build, maintain and deploy CI/CD pipelines that would increase productivity of the Full stack Engineering team.
• Design, build, maintain and deploy Infrastructure build pipelines that would increase productivity of the Full stack Engineering team.
• Documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
• Conforming to best practices in network administration and cybersecurity.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years’ experience as DevOps engineering building, deploying, and supporting large scale environments specifically B2B SaaS businesses.
• Demonstrated experience of delivering complex CI/CD pipeline and automation of environment build deployment.
• Google Cloud Platform expertise. Engineer and/or DevOps Engineer certification preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of programming languages such as Python and Java and writing code and scripts.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
