Product Owner – Finance

Salt have partnered with a well-known Fintech scale-up providing banking solutions aimed at making kids smarter with money, helping them master money management from an early age.

This mission driven Fintech has recently partnered with a leading tech Unicorn in the US, giving them access to over 6million MAU’s across the UK, Europe and US. It’s an exciting time for the business as they begin to become an integral part of people’s end to end banking experience through life.

They are looking for an experienced Product Owner to own the build of brand new tooling and products that will enable the business to continue to scale, working closely with internal stakeholders to develop a suite of products streamlining FP&A processes across the business. Proactively project manage the execution of the Finance and Tech roadmap with the engineering and data team within an agile environment including continuous delivery, quality management and document maintenance.

Here are a few skills they are looking for:

• Experience as a Product Owner shaping fintech products with a focus on Finance tech in payments, banking or investments.
• A strong understanding of processes with Finance teams, reconciliations, money flow mapping etc.
• Proficiency with data vis tooling like SQL, Tableau, Looker, Python and Big Query would be a big plus.
• Strong proficiency with numeric, a degree in a quant field would be great.
