Division

You will be joining the Data Products and Services department within the clients Group Strategy and Product Expansion division.

The department, under the leadership of Chief Data Officer, has been created in 2019 to lead the Banks transformation into a Data Driven organisation.

It is a multi-disciplinary team with experience and interest in bringing added value to Bank by managing data as a strategic business asset.

The department is in charge of:

  • Defining in “co-creation mode” new ways of working with regards to data, together with multi-disciplinary teams bringing together experts from IT and Business (and external stakeholders when required): bringing operational efficiency to teams overwhelmed with red tape or inefficiencies due to complex and burdensome handling of data related issues, raising the speed, robustness and sustainability with which teams comply with (data) regulations and regulatory recommendations, supporting the development of new products and services that leverage more the wealth of data of the company.
  • Defining and maintaining group data roles (e.g., Data Steward, Data Owner), their responsibilities, data organization(s) and governance bodies, and ensuring these new roles and responsibilities are properly defined and validated by Board and management committees (e.g., in policies like the Data Governance & Management board policy, etc.).etc.
  • Delivering change management activities and community management to teams across the Bank, to support and embark users in the Data Transformation: Data Owners, Data Stewards and Custodians, Data Scientists and Engineers, Report Owners, API Owners, their management lines and senior management.
  • Developing and implementing advanced new tools to better manage data and supporting the onboarding and training of the clients teams as they embrace the change and efficiency brought with them: big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop data lake), data intelligence solutions (e.g., Collibra, data lineage and traceability, metadata management, data sharing agreements), (automated) data quality management.
  • Having the broadest and best overview of the clients data assets from a central standpoint, monitoring and reporting to senior management how the client performs its duties in terms of using, leveraging and maintaining data as one of the clients “strategic business asset”.

The Team

The Change and Communities Management team is in charge of preparing, managing and reinforcing the people side of Change (the change of way of working of users in the business and IT) in order to contribute to grasping the full benefits of our Data Transformation.

So. In other words, the team works towards embedding data activities in project work and the experts’ day-to-day.

To ensure sustainability and scalability of the change management activities, the team also developed a Data Community Management approach whereby we build trust and create the required conditions (people, process, technology) to facilitate the data maturity evolution of each data community.

We are looking for a change manager who will coordinate change management activities and contribute to the department’s change strategy.

In particular :

  • Contribute the change management strategy (push/pull, scope, pace and approach) and roll out strategy of data capabilities in the organization.
  • Keep an integrated view on change management activities :
    • Deliver The blended learning journey (training) strategy and ensure its execution (including the coordination with HR division and with the contributors from DP&S other team)
    • Deliver the communication strategy and ensure its execution (Events, Newsletters, Sharepoint page maintenance, etc)
    • Deliver the User Experience strategy and ensure its execution (together with the application owner or related tools)
    • Define the stakeholder engagement strategy

Profile and Skill Set

  • Proven experience in change management activities, solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process (Change management certification is a plus).
  • Experience in Data Management is a plus.
  • Good communicator, assertive.
  • Team player, organised and effective
