Senior QA

Job Title: Senior Automation QA with Payments Experience

Location: Fully Remote (UK)

Salary: £75,000 – £85,000

We are seeking a skilled Senior Automation QA who specialises in payments and has experience in manual and functional testing. Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing their own testing, as well as contributing to test automation and continuous integration. The successful candidate must be proficient in Junit, Selenium, Jenkins, Docker image, scripting, and Java.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute manual and automated test cases for our payments software products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other QA members, to ensure product quality.
• Work closely with stand-up scrums simultaneously to provide effective functional testing.
• Perform exploratory testing to identify hidden bugs and defects
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with development teams to improve code quality
• Identify test automation opportunities to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness
• Experience with payment gateway systems like Stripe, PayPal, Braintree, etc.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with payments experience
• Experience in developing and executing manual and automated test cases
• Strong knowledge of Junit, Selenium, Jenkins, Docker image, scripting, and Java
• Experience with payment gateway systems l.
• Experience with testing methodologies, software development life cycle, and agile methodologies
• Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and collaborate with developers and product managers
• Attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
