Our client is a rapid growth eCommerce start-up, redefining the way that consumers in the UAE shop online.

They’re quickly becoming the leading player in this space in the Middle East, operating from a base in Dubai, and as a result are due to grow the team extensively. They are one of the most dynamic and exciting businesses in Dubai and have a team of around 45 that is due to at least double in the near future.

As a result of this aggressive growth plan, they’re looking to hire a Developer/Designer with good eCommerce experience to join the team and take ownership of their Web and Mobile applications.

Frontend Developer/Designer

• The role is based in Dubai, UAE where a lean and flat structure, as well as the mindset of autonomy, creates a performance driven culture with significant independence to impact the position and ultimately the performance of our client

Responsibilities

• Design and create exceptional web pages with a strong focus on user experience for local brands and businesses.
• Work with campaign managers and design team to hand-craft awesome landing pages that convert traffic into leads and sales.
• Convert your designs into working responsive websites. (PSD to HTML)
• Liaise with clients to collect information and resources for new design projects.
• Refine existing designs to help increase conversions and improve user experience.
• Rebuild the interface of WordPress-based blog.
• Work with the marketing team on implementing certain personalisation widgets on the website.

Qualifications:

• Expert proficiency in Adobe Photoshop / Sketch
• Experience in HTML / CSS
• Basic JavaScript knowledge
• Experience with cross-device / responsive design techniques
• Knowledge of conversion rate optimization (CRO)
• Familiarity with web trends and best practices for UX design
• Artistic skills
• Extraordinary attention to detail
