You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>Your Role and Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/> The Big Data Architect will lead a team of consultants, both onshore and offshore, designing and delivering information management solutions for clients using traditional and big data techniques. This is a client facing role requiring exceptional communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate the business case for big data solutions to our clients.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Core skills (mandatory)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Data Architecture<\/li>\n<li>Solution Architecture with focus on Big Data architecture; Requirements capture, conceptual and contextual architectures, technology selection, detailed design, planning and costing<\/li>\n<li>Apache Hadoop and knowledge of multiple distributions<\/li>\n<li>Data ingestion design including batch and real time architectures using tools like Kafka or equivalents.<\/li>\n<li>Data governance and metadata management.<\/li>\n<li>Data transformation technologies including but not limited to Spark, Python, Nifi.<\/li>\n<li>Data deployment experience on cloud native and hybrid cloud solutions<\/li>\n<li>Traditional ETL tools such as (DataStage, Informatica etc)<\/li>\n<li>Data Management<\/li>\n<li>Experience of data modelling and optimization for row and columnar based environments.
