{"id":400168,"date":"2023-03-13T07:35:19","date_gmt":"2023-03-13T07:35:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/welovesalt.com\/mena\/jobs\/%wpbb_job_industry%\/data-engineer\/"},"modified":"2023-04-27T12:25:28","modified_gmt":"2023-04-27T11:25:28","slug":"data-engineer-400168","status":"archive","type":"wpbb_job","link":"https:\/\/welovesalt.com\/mena\/jobs\/technology\/project-programme-management\/data-engineer-400168\/","title":{"rendered":"Data Engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>My client is a full spectrum media agency.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>This role is designed for someone who enjoys working on a variety of projects, and you are not afraid to take the initiative in using innovative ideas to deliver results. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>What our Data Engineers do:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Build and support scalable and reliable data solutions<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Translate complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Create custom ETL processes based on customer needs and their existing data sources<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Contribute to the core design of data architecture, data models and schemas, and implementation plans<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Support regular ad-hoc data querying and analysis to better understand customer behaviors<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Collaborate with teams across the organization to design, build and improve Analysis performance bottlenecks<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Create and maintain reports in Tableau, including building new attributes and measurement functionality.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Maintain and monitor data quality, including the creation of various alerts.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Technical skills we need:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Come with at least 4+ years of professional experience in building data pipelines in Python, data analysis including SQL, database modeling and design<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Ability to develop reports in Tableau is preferable.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Knowledge of AWS data stacks &#8211; our current stack is AWS s3, Python, Athena, Tableau, Googlesheets, AWS Redshift, Kinesis and Posgres. It is advantageous to have knowledge of the compute function, like Lambda.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Basic understanding of git, Docker, Airflow and Jenkins would be a plus.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Salt is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My client is a full spectrum media agency.
