In this role you will be responsible for the development &amp; detailed design of structural airframe components. You will contribute to the concept design of the aircraft, prototyping and production. You need to have a strong understanding of CAD design, and the ability to do hand calculations and create detailed models.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Initial fem model definition <\/li>\n<li>Structural model definition for preliminary analyses<\/li>\n<li>Initial stiffness evaluations and aero-servo-elastic preliminary assessment<\/li>\n<li>Preliminary structural layout definition<\/li>\n<li>Structure interfaces definition <\/li>\n<li>Preliminary airframe layout definition<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>10+ years of working experience in relevant industry<\/li>\n<li>Experience with composite and metallic component\/structural design and analysis<\/li>\n<li>Experience integrating systems in aircraft<\/li>\n<li>Excellent problem solving and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in composite structures design<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in CAD<\/li>\n<li>Experience with finite element tools<\/li>\n<li>Expert understanding of static and structural hand-calculations<\/li>\n<li>Background in composite ply definition desired<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Salt is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My client is a cutting-edge automated cargo service.
