You will work closely with their cross-functional teams to understand requirements, propose technical solutions, and deliver scalable and efficient software solutions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of the software.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.<\/li>\n<li>Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our development processes and practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience as a Java Developer, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).<\/li>\n<li>Experience with web application development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.<\/li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>Please apply to be contacted with further information.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Salt is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>6-month initial contract &#8211; with extensions I am working with a government entity, who are looking for a Java Developer to join them on an initial 6-month contract.
