{"id":749355,"date":"2024-06-26T09:47:26","date_gmt":"2024-06-26T08:47:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/welovesalt.com\/mena\/jobs\/%wpbb_job_industry%\/software-architect\/"},"modified":"2024-08-10T12:27:10","modified_gmt":"2024-08-10T11:27:10","slug":"software-architect-749355","status":"archive","type":"wpbb_job","link":"https:\/\/welovesalt.com\/mena\/jobs\/technology\/testing-quality-assurance\/software-architect-749355\/","title":{"rendered":"Software Architect"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>12-month extendable contract <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Salt has partnered with a leading Abu Dhabi-based business who are expanding its team due to securing large scale long-term projects.<\/p>\n<p>This role will initially be a contract, but it is likely to be moved to permanent after 12 months.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design and maintain software architecture for complex systems, ensuring scalability and adherence to business requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Lead architectural decision-making and collaborate with cross-functional teams.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate and select technologies to support architectural vision and integrate with existing systems.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct design, code, and architectural reviews to uphold best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Mentor development teams on architectural patterns and design principles.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and mitigate technical risks, proposing effective strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with DevOps teams to align architecture with deployment processes.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to architectural standards, guidelines, and documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the full software development lifecycle.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.<\/li>\n<li>5-7 years of experience in software architecture and design.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks.<\/li>\n<li>Experience designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development practices.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.<\/li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.<\/li>\n<li>Leadership skills with a track record of mentoring teams.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with microservices, event-driven architecture, or serverless computing.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of security principles and best practices (nice to have)<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of domain-driven design and event sourcing patterns.<\/li>\n<li>Certification in software architecture or relevant fields (nice to have)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Salt is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>12-month extendable contract Salt has partnered with a leading Abu Dhabi-based business who are expanding its team due to securing large scale long-term projects.
