{"id":755515,"date":"2024-07-24T09:54:34","date_gmt":"2024-07-24T08:54:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/welovesalt.com\/mena\/jobs\/%wpbb_job_industry%\/senior-project-management-officer\/"},"modified":"2024-09-07T12:25:51","modified_gmt":"2024-09-07T11:25:51","slug":"senior-project-management-officer-755515","status":"archive","type":"wpbb_job","link":"https:\/\/welovesalt.com\/mena\/jobs\/technology\/project-programme-management\/senior-project-management-officer-755515\/","title":{"rendered":"Senior Project Management Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>\ud83d\udccd Qatar (on-site)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u231b 12-month initial contract &#8211; with extensions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\ud83d\udca5 SMO Transformation Management skills required.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\ud83d\udde3\ufe0f Arabic speakers are required!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I am working with a leading consultancy in the region that is looking for a Senior PMO professional with a strong background in SMO (service management office) transformation management to join them on an initial 12-month contract.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and manage PMO functions, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Drive the transformation of the Service Management Office (SMO), implementing best practices and optimizing service management processes.<\/li>\n<li>Develop, implement, and monitor project management methodologies, standards, and tools.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and facilitate project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks and issues.<\/li>\n<li>Provide leadership and guidance to project managers and teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze project performance metrics and provide actionable insights to senior management.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.<\/li>\n<li>Support the development and delivery of training programs related to project management and SMO transformation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
