The Head of DE is the executor for overall Data strategy for the Digital transformation.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Responsibilities: <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design overall data architecture with best-in-class concepts and technologies in mind<\/li>\n<li>Guide project teams on data strategy related to coding practices, data engineering, and analytical modelling.<\/li>\n<li>Coach team in coding to develop robust data pipelines and architecture solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Experience:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 12-15+ years of managerial experience utilizing strong leadership skills, including mentoring, communication, decision-making, and project management.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the Big Data technology landscape<\/li>\n<li>Experience with batch and real-time processing frameworks (Hadoop, Apache Storm, Apache Kafka, Apache Spark etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency working with DataFrames and writing complex SQL queries.<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with production Cloud \/ DevOps environments and Data lake, Data transformation, ETL\/ELT, and other data concepts<\/li>\n<li>Experience of leveraging MS\/Azure ecosystem to manage the development and maintenance of cloud platform operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*** Only successful candidates will be contacted ***<\/p>\n<p>Salt is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My client is one of the largest manufacturing companies globally.
