{"id":793407,"date":"2025-01-16T12:47:08","date_gmt":"2025-01-16T12:47:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/welovesalt.com\/mena\/jobs\/%wpbb_job_industry%\/procurement-manager\/"},"modified":"2025-01-16T12:47:09","modified_gmt":"2025-01-16T12:47:09","slug":"procurement-manager-793407","status":"publish","type":"wpbb_job","link":"https:\/\/welovesalt.com\/mena\/jobs\/category-management\/procurement-manager-793407\/","title":{"rendered":"Procurement Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>My client are a leading organisation in the UAE and they are looking for a dynamic Procurement Manager to join their growing team.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Duties<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Managing specific categories within the business<\/li>\n<li>Developing strategies for each category and ensure proper implementation of the strategy while aligning with the annual Procurement Plan<\/li>\n<li>Managing the team of procurement specialists<\/li>\n<li>Managing the day-to-day activities of the procurement function<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Specific Duties<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Running and managing RFQs\/RFPs to ensure fulfilment of the Procurement Plan and the category strategy<\/li>\n<li>Act as a procurement lead on assigned strategic project which could include Technology projects, Merger Projects, special assignments.<\/li>\n<li>Planning the procurement of school requirements to ensure timely delivery<\/li>\n<li>Negotiate with suppliers to obtain best price, quality, and service.<\/li>\n<li>Identify synergies to enhance the commercial advantage of the organization by utilizing the economy of scale<\/li>\n<li>Review the award recommendations and provide sound feedback<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining relations with preferred suppliers to ensure procurement of high-quality goods\/services, expedient delivery, and dependableservice at optimum price.<\/li>\n<li>Analyzing markets to determine supplier&#8217;s sources and product availability.<\/li>\n<li>Compilation and preparation of reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends, and appropriate recommendations orconclusions.
