{"id":799042,"date":"2025-02-06T05:56:38","date_gmt":"2025-02-06T05:56:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/welovesalt.com\/mena\/jobs\/%wpbb_job_industry%\/solution-architect\/"},"modified":"2025-02-06T05:56:39","modified_gmt":"2025-02-06T05:56:39","slug":"solution-architect-799042","status":"publish","type":"wpbb_job","link":"https:\/\/welovesalt.com\/mena\/jobs\/technology\/project-programme-management\/solution-architect-799042","title":{"rendered":"Solution Architect"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>\u231b<\/strong><strong> 6-month initial contract<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>I have partnered with a leading financial institution in the UAE who are looking for a <strong>Solution Architect with experience in designing and using APIs, microservices, and integration solutions,<\/strong> to join them on an initial 6-month contract:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the <strong>implementation and production support<\/strong> for corporate banking solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Architect and integrate applications to create customized solutions for large corporate clients.<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and provide permanent resolutions.<\/li>\n<li>Develop graphical reporting to monitor system health and performance.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with product owners to implement strategic enhancements and improve system resilience.<\/li>\n<li>Provide <strong>on-call support<\/strong> in a rotational schedule to ensure 24\/7 system availability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Functional Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong understanding of <strong>corporate banking products and services<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of <strong>UAE banking regulations, Central Bank guidelines, Open Banking<\/strong>, and international banking standards.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in <strong>risk assessment, fraud detection, and mitigation strategies<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of <strong>payment systems, transaction processing, and settlement mechanisms<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to <strong>analyze complex banking challenges and propose effective solutions<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with <strong>change management and code release best practices<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Adaptability to the evolving banking landscape and emerging technologies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Technical Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Software development expertise<\/strong> in Java, .NET Core, and related frameworks.<\/li>\n<li>Strong hands-on experience with <strong>relational databases<\/strong> (Oracle, SQL Server) and familiarity with <strong>NoSQL databases<\/strong> (MongoDB).<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in <strong>cloud platforms and cloud architecture<\/strong> (AWS, Azure).<\/li>\n<li>Experience with <strong>API development, microservices architecture, and integration solutions<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of <strong>cybersecurity principles, data privacy regulations, and security architecture<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with <strong>CI\/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and automation tools<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Awareness of <strong>emerging fintech technologies<\/strong> such as blockchain, AI\/ML, and digital wallets.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in <strong>architectural design tools<\/strong> (Visio, Draw.io).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please apply to be contacted with further information.<\/p>\n<p>Salt is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u231b 6-month initial contract I have partnered with a leading financial institution in the UAE who are looking for a Solution Architect with experience in designing and using APIs, microservices, and integration solutions, to join them on an initial 6-month contract: Key Responsibilities: Lead the implementation and production support for corporate banking solutions.
