You&#8217;ll play a key leadership role in ensuring the strategic use, tracking, and lifecycle optimization of our hardware, software, end-user equipment, and network infrastructure.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and execute IT asset management strategies across hardware, software, and infrastructure.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate records and inventory of all IT assets and ensure lifecycle tracking.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with licensing, regulatory, and internal standards.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with IT, procurement, and other stakeholders to align asset planning with organizational goals.<\/li>\n<li>Lead the development of asset management policies, procedures, and best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Provide actionable reports and insights to senior leadership.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee procurement, vendor engagement, and cost forecasting for IT assets.<\/li>\n<li>Train internal teams on asset management systems, tools, and processes.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure secure and compliant disposal of outdated or decommissioned equipment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What You Bring:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>6-8 years of IT asset management experience (with at least 2 years in a leadership role).<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of ITAM principles, software licensing, and audit procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in asset management tools and systems.<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for cross-functional collaboration.<\/li>\n<li>Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, security practices, and network environments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please apply to be contacted with further information.<\/p>\n<p>Salt is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am looking for a Senior IT Asset Manager to take the reins of my clients&#8217; IT asset portfolio, managing everything from procurement to retirement.
