Currently seeking an experienced <strong>Azure Data Architect<\/strong> to join our growing Data &amp; AI practice and help design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions on Microsoft Azure.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design, develop, and implement end-to-end Azure data architectures for enterprise clients.<\/li>\n<li>Lead client engagements to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Architect modern data platforms using Azure services such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Azure SQL.<\/li>\n<li>Define data governance, data quality, security, and compliance standards within Azure environments.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and cloud engineers to ensure solutions are aligned and scalable.<\/li>\n<li>Optimize data flows and pipelines for performance and cost efficiency.<\/li>\n<li>Stay updated with the latest Azure features and recommend improvements for client environments.<\/li>\n<li>Support proposal development, client presentations, and technical mentoring within the team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s or Master&#8217;s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>8+ years of experience in data architecture, with 3+ years focused on Azure.<\/li>\n<li>Strong expertise in Azure services: <strong>Synapse, Data Lake, Data Factory, Databricks, SQL Database, Purview, Cosmos DB<\/strong>, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with <strong>modern data architecture patterns<\/strong> including data lakes, lakehouses, and medallion architecture.<\/li>\n<li>Solid understanding of <strong>ETL\/ELT processes<\/strong>, data modeling, and performance tuning.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with <strong>infrastructure as code<\/strong> (e.g., ARM templates, Terraform, Bicep) and CI\/CD in data engineering projects.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in <strong>SQL, Python, and\/or Spark<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Azure certifications (e.g., <strong>Azure Data Engineer Associate<\/strong>, <strong>Azure Solutions Architect Expert<\/strong>) are highly desirable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience working in consultancy or client-facing environments.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with industry verticals like finance, healthcare, or retail.<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to Power BI or other BI tools.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Salt is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About Us My client are a leading IT consultancy firm that partners with clients to solve complex business challenges through technology.
