Our global client is looking to hire a Senior Engineer, Cloud Services, and play a pivotal role in supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of our global public cloud infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining resilient cloud environments, utilizing cloud-native capabilities such as auto-scaling and automation.<\/p>\n<p>Your expertise will help scale the shared service public cloud infrastructure and ensure it meets the highest standards of security, availability, and reliability.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Base Salary: 20k to 27k<\/p>\n<p>AL: 20 days<\/p>\n<p>EP: 16%<\/p>\n<p>Medical: Extended to immediate family members<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate the design, development, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, network, and layout.<\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain public cloud platform infrastructure as code services.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure public cloud infrastructure complies with non-functional requirements including security, availability, and reliability.<\/li>\n<li>Execute DevOps standards and best practices across the company&#8217;s infrastructure.<\/li>\n<li>Stay up-to-date with cloud engineering trends and technology advancements.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and improve cloud system uptime, performance, high availability, and disaster recovery readiness.<\/li>\n<li>Provide regular status, operational, incident, and change reports.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree or equivalent related work experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Required<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>8+ years of experience in IT-related roles.<\/li>\n<li>3+ years of hands-on experience with application deployment, setup, and configuration on public cloud services.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced engineering knowledge of Public Cloud Services, including Monitoring, Access, Compute, Storage, Networking, Security, Configuration, and Database services.<\/li>\n<li>Experience designing, developing, deploying, and testing public cloud architecture.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to research, design, analyze, and modify Cloud-based Enterprise-wide systems and application software.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL data stores.<\/li>\n<li>Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.<\/li>\n<li>Some background in Information Security and compliance controls.<\/li>\n<li>Some experience in agile methodologies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>Preferred<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cloud Architecture or SysOps Associate or Professional certifications.<\/li>\n<li>Certification as an Information Security Professional (CISSP).<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the insurance industry.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in application development for cloud platforms using technologies like Grails, Angular frameworks, Java\/J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring, Micro Services, REST, NodeJS, and others.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and experience in infrastructure for cloud platforms using technologies like Terraform, Cloud Formation, NFS, SAN, Docker, Consul, Vault, Docker Orchestration tools, and CI\/CD (Jenkins, Spinnaker).<\/li>\n<li>Experience in using build and deployment tools like Maven, Gradle, Shell Scripts, PowerShell, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with programming and infrastructure automation (e.g., Terraform, AWSCLI, Ansible, Python, Shell, Java, and JSON).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are a technically skilled individual with a passion for cloud engineering and want to work on complex, high-impact projects, we invite you to apply for the Senior Engineer, Cloud Services role.
