Based in New Market – Central to cafes, public transport, and shopping!

About the Role:

As an Area Manager, you will serve as the vital link between the wholesale business and the retail network. You will visit dealerships and act as a mentor to ensure dealers achieve their targets, objectives and standards set out by the organisation. While most locations are based around Auckland, nationwide travel is a necessary component of this role.

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including After Sales Managers, Sales Managers and Dealer Principals
  • Drive dealer activities to generate additional sales opportunities and increased customer satisfaction
  • Monitor results through KPI performance steering and reporting, regularly reviewing with NSC and Dealer Management.
  • Engage dealers and internal stakeholders to support successful business for dealers
  • Provide customer support when required

About You:

To be successful in this role you will come from an after sales background in the automotive industry and have a strong understanding of Services and Parts requirements. You will bring a knowledgeable and empathetic approach to building relationships with stakeholders.

  • Strong business acumen
  • You will have worked in a similar role (ideally from the automotive industry), with a passion for people and delivery
  • Have a strong understanding of how dealerships operate including the retail side and flow of the service department
