Senior Network Engineer

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, monitoring, and enhancing network systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. What will you be doing?

• Lead the implementation of complex network changes, evaluating potential risks and securing
• Lead strategic assessments for network enhancements
• Maintain high network availability with no avoidable outages
• Engage in rigorous incident management processes, from analysis to resolution and documentation, to foster continuous improvement
• Coordinate the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures, analysing trends to enhance service quality
• Provide hands on technical support during high severity operational issues, to ensure stability and service continuity
• Foster strong relationships with users, key contacts, and service providers, both internally and externally

Who are we after?

• Proven experience as a Senior Network Engineer
• Certifications such as CCNA required; CCNP, CCIE, or progress towards these is highly valued
• Experience in a complex network environment – this is a Cisco House
• Expertise in BGP, VOIP environments, and disaster recovery procedures
• Multicast experience is ideal – if you’ve done projects with this, please highlight them
• Strong knowledge of Cisco technologies and network design principles
• ITIL Foundation knowledge
