Job Title: Practice Manager – HR Team

Main Purpose of Job:

Own, drive and deliver across all Salt relationships with clients and candidates within the Practice defined market of HR, as well as the internal and external Salt brand across Europe. 100% achievement of planned performance outcomes as a direct consequence of your practice’s contributions, at all times underpinned by the Company’s values and professional conduct.

Main Responsibilities:

Overview

As Practice Manager you will be responsible for successful ownership of client and candidate relationships to achieve a personal billing target, whilst also building an effective team to fulfil the strategic growth of this practice area at Salt.

Strategy development

  • Devise a strategic plan for successful growth of your practice.
  • Planning and coordinating the implementation of business plans and the penetration of new markets.
  • Responsible for driving internal recruitment activities within your practice, ensuring the team is appropriately resourced to deliver effective coverage to our clients.

Team management

  • Provide feedback to the sales teams and senior leadership on NPS scores whilst following up on cases to improve customer experience and create new business opportunities.
  • Adherence to Salt Pillars through weekly kick-offs and wraps, weekly sales meetings and 121s, monthly universe reviews and annual business plan reviews, strengthening the adoption of the Salt operating model.
  • Develop the capability of your team, inspire and motivate your team and drive their personal and professional development.
  • Drive consistent positive and improving NPS scores within your team.

Key Account Management

  • Work with the Sales Leaders, as well as the Global Head of Marketing, to drive business development into targeted KAM accounts.
  • Responsible for the execution of strategic and operational Customer Relationship activities via Salt’s KAM Strategy.
  • Formulate and own KAM plans for your practice that are in line with quarterly and annual targets.

Commercial oversight

  • Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas.
  • Responsibility for commercial arrangements within your practice, escalated to the Practice Director as appropriate

Responsibility for best practice and compliance of Company processes and systems

  • Responsibility for compliance of business processes within your market
  • Proactively work with the People function on all matters impacting your team through the full employee lifecycle
  • Promote best practice of the Company’s systems
  • Support a culture of continual improvement of Company processes & practices
  • Work collaboratively with other function leads as required
  • Demonstrate the Salt values
  • Contribute to the culture of knowledge sharing and continual development, provide training in specialist areas
  • Ad hoc projects based on business needs

Requirements

  • Proven ability to meet and exceed personal minimum billing target of £180K per annum
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed practice combined billing target (value dependant on the consultants in the team)
  • Support the Practice and Regional Director to achieve consistency and growth of revenue
  • Experience of developing a KAM strategy
  • Evidence of working with senior management to align sales strategies and solutions (in line with Global KAM Strategy and Salt:X Solutions)
  • Experience of hiring, training and development of consultants
  • Demonstrated excellence in negotiation skills (average margins 20%+)
