Salt is hiring a ‘Content Policy Manager, Regulatory Compliance’ with experience in policy, law, human rights, government, business, or risk management. This person will be responsible for regulatory compliance policy development with a focus on APAC.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

You will provide policy counsel to local public policy teams and leadership working to address regulatory takedown challenges. You will be responsible for helping develop and refine our regulatory compliance policies and managing escalations from those policies.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Help develop and refine principles and policies related to regulatory compliance with takedown requests. Special focus on compliance policies including operations and product advocacy, and regulatory escalations from the APAC region.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Manage regulatory escalations relating to freedom of expression.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Act as an APAC escalation point of contact and manage internal communications for policy issues, including on-call rotations<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Produce and present internal communications for senior leadership to inform them of ongoing situations and provide recommendations and decision support.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Help articulate policy philosophy, launches, and changes to relevant parties, including management, operations, and other internal and external stakeholders.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Work with Public Policy team, as well as external stakeholders, to monitor the global environment for issues that affect content policy.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Minimum Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7 8+ years of relevant work experience in policy, law, human rights, government, business, or risk management with an emphasis on platforms and technology<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Experience with Internet\/social media content issues<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Demonstrates analytical-thinking and problem-solving skills<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Experience working cross-functionally and consensus-building<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
