- Consolidate financial data including from the Company, subsidiaries, and joint venture entities.<\/li>\n
- Preparation, review and analysis of consolidated financial statements including required disclosure notes for financial instruments and transactions and M&A deals<\/li>\n
- Coordinate with auditors and provide the required support during the audit\/review process of financial statements including assisting with queries arising from audits by external audit firms.<\/li>\n
- Provide Joint Venture, M&A integration support from a financial statement perspective.<\/li>\n
- Record, and report the results of operations for both internal and external financial reporting purposes<\/li>\n
- Oversees and executes day to day accounting of activities that include but is not limited to time deposit, intercompany loan, FX hedging, derivative, supply chain financing, cash pooling, accounts payable, accounts receivable, dividends, reconciliations, maintaining charts of account, etc… and financial management and accounting control related tasks.<\/li>\n
- Maintain the company’s Accounting Policies, ensuring compliance with IFRS and group requirements.<\/li>\n
- Provide ad hoc financial expertise as required.<\/li>\n
- Provide accounting technical guidance<\/li>\n
- Identifies and researches the appropriate accounting treatment for new transactions and business initiatives.<\/li>\n
- Monitors compliance of financial accounting standards, tax regulations, and ensuring effective internal controls over financial reporting processes.<\/li>\n
- Review transaction\/investment\/M&A agreements and related Technical Accounting papers<\/li>\n
- Review treasury activity agreements including but not limited to time deposit, intercompany loan, FX hedging, derivative, supply chain financing, cash pooling, and assess related technical accounting requirements.<\/li>\n
- Analyzes the impact of new accounting policies and principles on the Company’s financial condition and on financial reporting and budgetary systems.<\/li>\n
- Research accounting literature to address current issues involving accounting and financial reporting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Requirements<\/h2>\n
- \n
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Master’s Degree is desirable.<\/li>\n
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting (with acquisition accounting exp)<\/li>\n
- Public accounting experience preferred<\/li>\n
- Good understanding of US GAAP or IFRS is preferred<\/li>\n
- Experience with financial integration is a plus<\/li>\n
- Experience with revenue\/lease accounting is a plus<\/li>\n
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint)<\/li>\n
- Strong analytical and process skills, with meticulous attention to detail.<\/li>\n
- Team player with a positive attitude<\/li>\n
