This position assumes the role to assist in developing Life Systems development\/enhancement projects including Life Asia and Front-End systems. Managing activities within sub-team and project monitoring. Collecting user requirements and carried out development tasks including system design, coding, testing and user acceptance testing.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for managing small scale projects throughout its life cycle including feasibility study, user expectation management, and change management.<\/li>\n<li>Assist direct supervisor to deliver medium to large scale of system modification\/enhancement within budget and time frame.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for project execution within budget and time frame, measuring\/identify potential risk and recommends risk mitigation wherever appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>Propose on system development strategy and planning. Evaluate and recommend new IT products and services.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the performance and ensure quality support of all existing IT production systems<\/li>\n<li>Assist direct supervisor to establish design standard and lead system development.<\/li>\n<li>Assist direct supervisor to develop best practices adhere to system development standards.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the quality of the system integration vendors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS \/ EXPERIENCE<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University degree in Computer Science or equivalent, minimum 5 years working experience in Information Technology.<\/li>\n<li>Solid experience in enterprise-scale application development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>KNOWLEDGE &amp; TECHNICAL SKILLS<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competent knowledge in Life Asia, AS\/400, middle ware connectivity like MQ\/MSP and client-server technologies integrating with Front-End System.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge in Opentext Exstream (Streamserve) and BMC Control-M is an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and experience in implementing enterprise-scale IT system for Life Insurance.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge in Life Insurance products and workflow.<\/li>\n<li>Good team player.<\/li>\n<li>Self-initiative and pro-active.<\/li>\n<li>Able to lead a small size of IT development team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>CEI No: R1763696 \/ EA No: 07C3147<\/p>\n<p>Salt is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/VlJhbWFzd2FteS41NjY3MC4xMjExM0BzYWx0LmFwbGl0cmFrLmNvbQ.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Salt is working with a leading Life Insurance company of APAC region to find a suitable System Analyst to join their team on a 12 months contract based out in Hong Kong or work remotely.
