This is about writing the marketing playbook for growth rather than simply executing on the status quo. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>The role + responsibilites: <\/p>\n<p>You will develop and deliver marketing activities for the firm&#8217;s world-class Technology, Media &amp; Telecom practice. Your primary focus is helping practice leaders grow the business by nurturing new and existing relationships using all components of the marketing playbook at each stage of the funnel.<\/p>\n<p>The team is looking for an accomplished, proven, passionate marketing leader to deliver targeted, tailored, and sophisticated marketing strategies and campaigns with a primary focus on the US market. You will be a strategic thought partner to the business team, helping to guide the overall go-to-market strategy as well as direct functional marketing activities.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strategize with the practice&#8217;s global leadership to recommend, construct, and deliver marketing strategies and activities which reflect the practice&#8217;s growth ambitions and go-to-market approach. You will sit on the practice leadership team, participate in their meetings, and interact 1:1 with senior leaders. <\/li>\n<li>Identify, size, and prioritize target audiences in partnership with the leadership team and Business Intelligence Center, providing insights into likely buyer motivations and personae.<\/li>\n<li>Track and analyze competitors, identifying opportunities for the firm to stand out and deliver differentiated messages in the market.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with additional marketing resources (brand marketing, media relations, content, events, business intelligence \/ research and digital teams) to develop content and deliver highly integrated and focused marketing campaigns that move the needle on target buyer awareness, consideration and engagement.<\/li>\n<li>Lead the annual marketing planning process, working with practice leaders, Business and Corporate Marketing to align growth priorities with practice marketing investment and ROI targets.<\/li>\n<li>Create an annual practice-wide marketing plan, ensuring the scheduling of activities provides ongoing opportunities to build the level of engagement with the market.<\/li>\n<li>Install and manage a full set of marketing and BD collateral, ensuring consistency across practice sectors, compliance with the firm-wide band, and tailored buyer \/ sector messaging where appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the practice&#8217;s online presence in proprietary and third-party channels is up-to-date, dynamic, and projecting the full weight of practice offerings.<\/li>\n<li>Track and monitor all relevant marketing \/ funnel \/ pipeline KPIs, relating marketing inputs to business outcomes, providing insights on winning practices and recommending course-corrections as necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and deliver the correct blend of emphasis on promoting practice area (core technical disciplines), people (individual SMEs) and product (specific solution offerings) within the overall marketing agenda.<\/li>\n<li>Be the key point of contact for co-marketing of strategic partnerships and alliances.<\/li>\n<li>Build the firm&#8217;s brand in the TMT space by amplifying the practice&#8217;s technical and industry expertise using experiences, successes, and case studies.<\/li>\n<li>Provide strategic input to the firm&#8217;s corporate marketing team, identifying opportunities to amplify the TMT team&#8217;s position within the firm&#8217;s wider marketing agenda.<\/li>\n<li>Operate cross-border to ensure global and local priorities\/activities are clearly understood, consistent and visible.<\/li>\n<li>Coach senior consulting leaders on how to build and promote their personal brands, how to write effective marketing briefs and how to create the right client messaging.<\/li>\n<li>Manage, mentor, and develop a small industry sector marketing team, setting performance and development goals in line with firm marketing and industry priorities and providing performance coaching and feedback to build the individual&#8217;s contribution to the firm&#8217;s marketing expertise.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Your background + experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>10+ years of work experience with 7+ in B2B marketing in professional services <\/li>\n<li>Experience in a marketing leadership role, with a business unit, service-line, industry or similar operating context<\/li>\n<li>Domain experience in one of the key industry segments (Technology, Media, Telecom) with an understanding and point-of-view on trends shaping these industries<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable knowledge and experience of bringing the relevant elements of the off-line \/ on-line marketing toolkit to bear to shape the marketing funnel, including content marketing, pro-active outreach and digital marketing<\/li>\n<li>A collaborative team-player and creative problem-solver, with the ability to &#8220;make things happen&#8221; in a matrixed environment. .<\/li>\n<li>A natural inclination to identify and promote the best qualities of your organization, your practice and the team.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working with senior leaders, including offering ideas, opinions and pushing back when you disagree.<\/li>\n<li>Proactive and responsive;
