{"id":12951,"date":"2023-03-31T11:41:30","date_gmt":"2023-03-31T10:41:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/welovesalt.com\/usa\/jobs\/%wpbb_job_industry%\/financial-controller\/"},"modified":"2023-05-15T12:28:18","modified_gmt":"2023-05-15T11:28:18","slug":"financial-controller-12951","status":"archive","type":"wpbb_job","link":"https:\/\/welovesalt.com\/usa\/jobs\/sales\/software\/financial-controller-12951","title":{"rendered":"Financial Controller"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Salt is partnering with a global company looking to bring on an experienced <strong style=\"font-size: 12px\">Financial Controller <\/strong>to their growing team!<\/p>\n<p>You will be in charge of managing corporate accounting, financial reporting, budget preparation, internal control policies, and regulations to ensure the company&#8217;s overall success.<\/p>\n<p>Fully remote, US-based position.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 12px\">Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A\/R, A\/P, GL, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with GAAP and FASB (606, 730, 810, etc).<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances<\/li>\n<li>Review and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate all audit activity<\/li>\n<li>Tax planning<\/li>\n<li>Prepare monthly payroll<\/li>\n<li>Manage the Accounts Specialists and other supporting accounting\/finance roles<\/li>\n<li>Lead system enhancements, integrations and automations to streamline work and drive efficiencies in finance processes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 12px\">Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years of relevant experience as a controller or in accounting management<\/li>\n<li>Experience working for startups, ideally with SaaS-based business models<\/li>\n<li>Experience with passing external audits<\/li>\n<li>Previously managed accounting team members<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of US state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings<\/li>\n<li>CPA qualification would be a strong advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Salt is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Salt is partnering with a global company looking to bring on an experienced Financial Controller to their growing team!
